RBP Support is Here

Many of you will have already received information from RBP Services across the country, letting you know additional funding has been released to support those most affected by COVID's impact on the tourism sector.

There are two initiatives under the $200 million Tourism Communities: Support, Recovery and Re-set Plan.  The funding applies to areas most impacted by the loss of international tourism, such as Queenstown Lakes, Fiordland, West Coast.

The Funds

Business Advisory Support (THINK | PLAN):

Much like 2020, this initiative enables businesses to access up to $5,000 per business for expert advice and training to support a response to COVID-19. This funding will be issued through the RBP platform and can only be applied to RBP approved Advisory and Training Services to cover 100% of the costs of that training or advice.

Businesses wanting to access this fund must first meet the criteria then register interest with their local RBP provider. Please see the link about for instructions as to how to do this.

Advice Implementation Grant (DO):

This fund is new and qualifying businesses will also be eligible to access up to $5,000 of funds to apply to implementing the strategic thinking and planning received. There are a number of criteria for qualifying so do read the material in the above link well.

However once approved, businesses will have this grant paid directly to their business to then pay suppliers for implementation advice.

M.LAB is incredibly privileged to be a registered provider for both funds. We are more than happy to provide proposals for your implementation advice as required and are happy to project manage all aspects of delivery to support you to the  best outcome.

We recommend however that your first port of call is always your regional business growth advisor.
